The Tailend, Dundee

The Tailend is a family run business which has been in the fish industry for four generations. The proposal was for a facelift and major internal alterations to an existing restaurant, in a prominent Conservation area of Dundee. 
 
The main access stair was repositioned, separating the take-away counter with the basement restaurant which has been decorated to create an industrial chic feel. 
 
The street elevation was given a fresh and modern look, to improve the appearance of an outdated existing building within an important streetscape in the city.  The renovation has been a labour of love turning an empty cellar space into a beautiful boutique take away & restaurant.
