Our Team
Maureen King
Maureen has worked in architectural practices for over 35 years, gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge within the industry. Her career began as a Personal Assistant to two Partners at the award-winning practice, Brunton Voigt Partnership.
She later became Practice/Office Manager before advancing to the role of Financial Director. Since the formation of Voigt Architects Limited in 2018, Maureen has served as the Managing Director.
Outside of work, Maureen enjoys traveling, supporting Dundee FC, and spending time with her family.
Robert Burness
Robert is an Architectural Technician with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry.
His roles within the company include meeting with clients to advance projects during the detailed design stage, collaborating with Consulting Engineers, and submitting Building Warrants—handling Building Control and addressing any queries that arise during the Warrant process.
In his free time, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and tinkering with classic cars.
Kenny Falconer
Kenny is a Chartered Architectural Technologist registered with the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), with over 18 years of experience in the construction industry. He completed his apprenticeship with Voigt Partnership, studying initially at Dundee College before progressing to Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, where he earned his BSc (Hons) Degree in Architectural Technology.
As the Technical Director at Voigt Architects, Kenny oversees the production of detailed design drawings, tenders, contract administration, and onsite inspections. He enjoys collaborating with clients and contractors to discuss key project details and bring ideas to life. Kenny also has a strong interest in the day-to-day operations and financial aspects of the business.
Outside of work, Kenny enjoys playing field and ball hockey, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Lee Fotheringham
Lee is a Chartered Architect who began working in practice after leaving high school in 2010. He studied part-time at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, part of the Glasgow School of Art, and became a fully qualified Architect in 2021. Lee is currently registered with the ARB, RIAS, and RIBA.
Lee enjoys meeting both new and existing clients, helping transform initial ideas into design concepts, and seeing projects through to completion. He has a broad range of experience, having worked on projects of all scales, from small housing extensions to large development masterplans.
Outside of architecture, Lee has a keen interest in golf, running, and traveling whenever possible.
Josh Burt
Josh is an apprentice working towards his HND in Architectural Technology, which he studies part-time at Dundee and Angus College. For the rest of the week, he is employed by the practice, where he receives training and mentoring from our staff.
Through this route, Josh is gaining valuable practical experience while earning his qualifications at college. He has already become an integral member of our team.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends.
