The site is located at East Seaton Farm by Arbroath within a busy working farm for an expanding local business.
The extension took the form of a wedge shape extending out from an existing cottage with a large single roof pitch sloping back towards the existing building accommodating an upper floor level for expansion at the highest point. At the entrance the corner is cut away from the wedge allowing for a large external space with an overhanging roof, lit up with a large rooflight.
External materials were chosen to blend into the agricultural setting creating a contemporary office extension that sits comfortably in the location.
